Self-Paced Course Learning Requirements
Good study habits
To complete the course, you will need to allow yourself an average of 8 hours of self study per module. This includes e-book reading and completing the online tutorials that include online practice questions, so you get test your own understanding as you go.
All the materials including the e-book will be available on our Learning Management System.(LMS). The LMS is compatible with most systems and devices so you can complete your study anywhere, anytime. Students will also receive access to an academic version of the HandiTax tax preparation software.
Access to Windows for HandiTax
Learning to use HandiTax is an optional component included in the course. As the tax software is not compatible with Apple Mac devices, students are required to have access to a laptop or device that is equipped with Windows (or is Windows compatible). Refer to FAQ’s & T&Cs.
Students will require reasonable internet connectivity and access to a printer would also be handy.
Enrolment and payment options
The $399 fee covers all materials including an academic version of tax preparation software. The fee includes a $100 non-refundable registration charge.
Fee is Tax Deductible
Regardless of why you are registering for the course, your fee will be fully tax deductible on your 2022 tax return.
