The city hosts the Central Queensland University, the Rockhampton Art Gallery, Heritage Village, as well as Mount Archer National Park, Mount Morgan and the offshore island chains that include Great Keppel Island.

JOB OVERVIEW
Opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Tax Consultant/Accountant to work with our clients at our Rockhampton office on the Capricorn coast of Queensland, preparing tax returns under the supervision of a Registered Tax Agent. This is a part time position and an opportunity for year-round employment may exist for the right candidate.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be experienced and capable in all types of tax preparation including Individual, Rental, Small Business and Partnership returns as well as Business Activity Statements.Applicant should be well spoken, well presented with excellent communication and people skills and the ability to adapt to working autonomously and as part of the wider team.
Proficient in the use of HANDITAX for Tax Return preparation, MYOB and/or XERO experience for Bookkeeping are desired, although training will provide.
