Course Content

The learning structure includes reading, watching online tutorials and completing online assignments.

You will receive access to our modules which are available in e-book format as well as the Learning Management System.

  • As soon as you setup access, you can commence your studying.
  • Complete each module in your own time and at your own pace.
  • The Online resources will become available from February 13 2021.

We estimate that it will take you around 10 hours per week to complete the module in full.

As you complete a module, then next module will unlock so you can proceed at your own pace.

After completing each of the modules, you will be able to download a certificate for CPD hours. As CPD hours can only apply to structured learning, certificates will reflect the timings of the weekly e-learning module on the LMS. Hours required to complete the e-book reading do not form part of structured training.

The course content is based on the 2020 Tax Year.

You will also receive access to an academic version of HandiTax so you can also learn how to use one of the most popular tax preparation programs available.

While the course does include HandiTax demonstrations, for Self-Paced Learning students it is not a requirement to use.

Self-Paced Learning Student Support

Students requiring tax technical support will be able to submit a support request then join a one hour weekly Q&A session online. Each week our instructors will focus on one module and answer submitted questions to anyone who wants to join. Q&A sessions will be recorded and made available to any Self-Paced Learning student who registers but can't attend.
