Medowie: Small season only office approximately 390 returns.

Client Service Representative - VIC

Location: Mitcham

JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Team Leader / Client Service Centre Manager, this role will see you:

  • Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls
  • Making outbound 'warm reminder' calls to our existing clients
  • Provide a positive customer experience
  • Provide prompt, reliable and accurate information to clients
  • Accurately log all interactions in the internal database.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a similar customer service role
  • Full availability to work up to 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 8:00pm, and alternate Saturdays between 8am — 4pm
  • Have the flexibility to work with a rotating roster, which will be released at least two weeks in advance

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities in this role:
  • Communication with the clients including writing and drafting of client letters and emails.
  • Liaising with the ATO, following up queries on behalf of the team
  • Setting up and updating clients using HandiSoft and in the ASIC portal
  • Scanning, filing and distribution of mail and collation of documents
  • File management
  • Create invoices and process payments
  • Debt Collection
  • Sending out financial reports and statements and Income tax returns
  • Ordering of office supplies
  • General administration and reception duties as requested by the partners  
 Skills and personal attributes required:
  • Must have worked in administration in an Accounting firm for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Great attention to detail and organised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Handisoft Experience
  • Permanent resident or Australian citizen

Office Manager - VIC

Location: Melbourne

JOB OVERVIEW

We have opportunities for the positions of Office Manager in the following offices in M1 District.

Reservoir - This office is open year-round and processes around 1500 returns per year. Located in the main shopping strip of Reservoir it has great potential for growth with the right manager.
 
Port Melbourne – This is a year-round office with reduced hours in the offseason and processes around 1100 returns per year. Located on Bay St which is the heart of the Port Melbourne area it is close to everything the suburb has to offer.
 
Eltham – Based in the leafy suburb on the outskirts of Melbourne this office processes around 850 returns per year. It has the charm of a country town in a metropolitan suburb of Melbourne.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

As an office manager you will be:

  • Required to be available for a minimum 38 hours per week during peak tax season.
  • An experienced tax consultant, gained over a minimum amount of tax seasons.
  • Professionally presented.
  • Articulate and customer focused.
  • A strong communicator setting a clear direction on office goals and team performance.

The office manager must:

  • Have a high level of computer literacy, interpersonal skills and proven quality tax preparation skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop others.
  • Have attended and continue attending H&R Block’s Tax Training plus all other training requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive growth in the number of tax returns, volume, contribution margin and labor productivity, in line with the office plan.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to all Associates within their office, to ensure we truly understand our clients’ needs and deliver the right solution.
  • Develop a repeat and referral culture by providing a professional service, at all stages of the sales process.
  • Promote ‘Specialised Advisory Services’ to add value to the client experience.
  • Drive team motivation through effective communication and sales hustle.
  • Execute Marketing plans including, National programs, and Local Area Marketing and community engagement activities.
  • Ensure that the office and team members are always presented at the highest standard

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Tax returns, volume, contribution margin in line with the office plan.
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) target as defined.
  • Compliance with the ‘office review action’ plan.
  • Number of referrals to Special Advisory Services
